Recently, Alice helped us with a memorial for a dear member of our family who died unexpectedly overseas. Because we had not had a funeral, we wanted to formally honour her life and so on the first anniversary of her death we went to the beach and held our service by the water. We chose this place because the water connects us to far away places and it was a symbolic way of reaching out to her. Alice was an angel. She helped us structure our service and and supported us with beautiful and appropriate words. While this was something that we wanted to do we were overwhelmed by the power of the occasion. It was magnificent and an essential part of our grieving journey. We thank Alice for being so perfect and caring and making this memorial which was so important to us a beautiful occasion.
